hello to everyone in this video Im going to explain how to draw scatter diagram in MATLAB first of all you need to add certain commands CLC clear all close all these are the commands to clear the command window now we are going to take an example of cos wave and we are going to plot a scatter diagram for that cos wave cos wave is given by y equal to cos x here we are going to add certain random noise to this cos x wave so that we can plot the scatter diagram we are making use of friend function in order to put the random voice around one to two hundred the maximum value will be two hundred now we are going to plot the scatter diagram first of all we need to define the x value limit cos x interval is basically from 0 to 2pi here for our convenience we are going to plot it up to 0 to 3 PI so the interval of X varies from 0 to 3 pi in our example now we are going to define this value here x equal in order to define the value we need to make use of a line space function line space starting value that is 0 the interval which we want to plot up to we which we want to plot here 3 pi and total number of factors we want with 1/200 here the length of this vector should be equal to the friend upper limit that is 200 now we are going to make use of scatter command in order to plot this on the command window we will right now before that we need to put this x value above the Y because we are making it used in the cause X now we are going to make use of scatter function scatter X comma Y and run it on the command window here you can see the scatter diagram now if you want to change the color of this circles this is possible in MATLAB for that you just need to define one extra variable double X line X 0 2 3 PI and interval is 200 now write this this command scatter again scatter X comma Y and after that write double x and also this square parenthesis now we are going to run this and see the output here you can see the colors circle now if you want to fill these circles in order to fill this circle you need to right field now you can see that this circle comes out to be filled circle now if you want to change the shape of this sample values like for here I am taking diamond for that you need to write D here you can see the shape has been changed to diamond now there are n number of such these type of properties we can play with them now I am going to show you how to plot multiple scatter diagram in a one window for that you need to make use of subplot command ex1 subplot one to one this is for first scatter diagram taking the second function let us take an example of sine X we are going to draw scatter diagram for sine X for that we need to define x and y defined in the similar way linspace 0 to 3 PI 200 and Y is equal to sine X plus random 1 to 200 so this is the second function now we need to define this scatter diagram scatter x1 comma y1 for it also we need to write subplot command a x2 equals subplot one to two now we need to add a x2 before this X 1 and similarly X 1 before this X 1 that is X now we are going to run it here you can see the two diagram on the command window now if you want to give the title then for that you need to write title below this scatter title IX to the title which you want to give here I am writing second lets see the output I can see second thanks for watching tags:
