okay in this tutorial we are going to show you how to completely remove the BlueStacks App Player okay to start off were going to do is we need to terminate all love BlueStacks processes alright so what about have you do is press the ctrl alt and delete key simultaneously one time and then click on task task manager or start task manager or you can just simply go down to the task bar right click on it and then select task manager here alright so what were going to do is were going to go down the list of processes alright on the processes tab and were going to right click on each of the BlueStacks process that we see and were going to select to end the task okay all right that should take care of all of them okay next were going to do is why not a fact lets just look down make sure okay thats gone all right so what next what we need to do is actually go to the control panel all right and were going to go to the uninstaller program within the control down one matter fact I tell you what within the Pro the control panel were going to go to programs and features because were going to need to change the the view by in the control panel to large icons right so if youre using Windows 8 youre simply going to click on the windows logo on the left or left then click the down arrow scroll over to the right and then click on control panel now if youre using Windows 7 youre simply going to click the start button in the lower left and then select control panel alright now once youre in the control panel 107 in Windows 8 are identical so what youre going to do is go up to the upper right and change youre going to change the
view by two large icons just like I have it here okay alright so the first thing were going to do is we are going to go down to programs and features and were going to click on that alright once its open and your list of installed applications is displayed click on blue BlueStacks a player and then click on uninstall above and then click yes at the confirmation is a pretty good-sized app so it may take just a minute to remove but thats normal thats okay Im going to keep this in real time and just wait this out now once this part of the uninstall is complete were going to do is we are going to loop so were going to go ahead and click yes at the UAC when it comes up all right now once this is done were going to actually go in and actually delete any leftover folders files and folders from BlueStacks you know if theyre left over all right now its asking do you want to keep all of your apps and data this is up to you but since were doing a complete removal were going to go ahead and say no all right were going to close the web browser that opens and were still waiting this out shouldnt be too much longer okay when making some progress now okay all right that parts done all right next we need to do my FAQ where were going to stand the control panel were just going to just back up one step right back to the the first one oh that we actually saw when we came to the control panel and what were going to do is were going to go to folder options click on that and then when I go to the middle tab which is view and then well go down here right which says hidden files and folders and were going
to check show hidden files folders and drives okay then were going to click on ok all right then were going to ahead and close that window okay all right so next what we need to do were going to go ahead and clean up any leftover files so were going to do is were going to click Im gonna have you click on the windows logo on the lower left of your keyboard between the control and alt and while youre still holding that down press the little arse and raymon together alright and when have you type in the one coming in box is percent 10% okay percent 10% and then press Enter alright now were going to do is were going to look for anything that is blue stack related or that its title BST and it looks like this is clear you may have some leftovers in yours but you shouldnt in most situations all right so you looking for anything and it will say blue stacks or BST here and then youll youll be right-clicking on it and then deleting okay alright okay so we have nothing there alright so next what were going to do is we are going to go to the Program Files now if youre using a 64-bit system youre going to go to Program Files x86 if youre using a 32-bit system youre going to go to just Program Files alright so were going to go to hit and go to x86 and so using a 64-bit system alright and if you see anything that is labeled that is titled blue stack here simply right click on it and then select deleted ok and Im going to back up and check his regular program files as well okay all right everythings clear all right next what were going to do is we are going to go to lets make sure I can see everything here island enough
looks like somethings missing so Im going to go right back to the control panel and make sure that I set everything straight one of the folder options lets just make sure that I didnt miss anything lets see shell be done yet okay Im straight there okay I just want to make sure and when I go right back to where we were before okay all right we want to do now is within local disk C okay we want to go to program data all right and then what were going to do is were going to remove this folder thats a titled bluestacks setup alright and if you see a folder title just BlueStacks here youre going to go ahead and remove that as well okay all right okay next were going to do is we youre going to if you using Windows seven youre simply going to go down to the lower left and within the search programs and files youre going to type in B as in Bill s is in Sam T as in Tom BST okay and then do a search on your local Drive alright if you using Windows 8 like I am Im going to break out the charms bar and in search Im going to type that same thing B as T and were going to choose to only search in files now anything that you locate here thats titled BST go ahead and delete it okay all right now we dont have anything here so were good okay next what we need to do is were going to download a small BlueStacks cleanup registry cleanup utility so go ahead and open a web browser and go to google.com and type in uninstall BlueStacks okay now what were going to do is were gonna go to the second a result here which has the two O two eight seven seven five four nine in it okay its
at BlueStacks calm okay alright then were going to scroll down just a little bit and right where it says step four here download and extract cleaning utility file when they do will go ahead download that and Im going to show it the folder where it is where was downloaded oops Im going to go back that far Im bad alright and were going to go ahead and extract it all right and then Im going to go ahead and close the web browser Im going to go ahead and right-click on the batch file and select run as administrator select yes at the UAC itll do a quick clean all right and then its pretty much done okay now at this time all we need to do is simply restart the system all right and what just starts out were gonna just check a couple of things just to make sure were good and afterwards your system should be totally clear of the BlueStacks player and we just give this as just a minute to restart and its taking its time but thats okay now when the system restarts we are going to make sure that there are no errors or anything that are related to any leftover files from BlueStacks and if there are well just go ahead and just work through them right this is almost restarted okay just about there and its definitely taking its time but like I said were going to stand real-time so we just want to just wait this out okay all right systems still starting up loading services and Im going to just go ahead and start the task manager here just to make sure we have no blue stack processes and we should not it should be totally clear but were just making sure okay all right looks good all right and at this point your system should be totally clear of the BlueStacks Android app player
